About me

Hi, I’m Amy, I’m a Black Country girl, based just about as centrally in England as you can get. I’m married and a mom to a six year old  and 18 month old sons.

This is my personal blog where I write about living with myasthenia gravis (a neurological auto-immune disease), surviving multiple blood clots, life with a young family, food, health and beauty, updates.., whatever takes my fancy when I start to type.

I love meeting new people and developing friendships, so feel free to connect with me across the various social media sites that I use and get in touch.

  1. Hi:

My father has Myasthenia Gravis. He is 86 years old. Was wondering if you noticed any improvement in your condition using Aloe Vera.

    • I used aloe a number of years ago. Unfortunately, mg has deteriorated the last three years and due to my medication Im now cautious to use alternative treatments as they impact some of the drugs I have to take. At the time I used aloe, I was Generally healthier and found them useful.

  2. Im sorry to hear about your condition. To me there seems very limited research on MG and holistic treatments. Aloe Vera has some parasympathetic qualities which seems like it could help many conditions.
